Beinn Alligin means ‘the Mountain of Beauty or Jeweled Mountain’, and it certainly lives up to its name. Inspiration taken from a camping trip to Torridon in the summer - waking up early to catch the first light on the mountain to capture beautiful shadows, colours and shapes which are highlighted in this painting.
